The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community are the top priorities at Kids of Grace Academy. To ensure a secure environment, all parents and guardians visiting the campus must adhere to the following safety protocol.
Background Check Requirement
1. Mandatory Background Check and Child Safety Training:
All parents or guardians who wish to access the campus during school hours or participate in school-related activities must undergo a background check and Child Safety Training.
The background check process will be coordinated through the school administration office. Parents must provide the necessary documentation and consent for the check to be conducted.
The child safety training is a 30 minute video that will be sent via email and a short quiz that follows.
2. Annual Renewal:
Background checks are valid for one year. Parents are required to renew their clearance annually to maintain campus access.
3. Confidentiality:
All background check information will be handled confidentially and securely.
Campus Access Procedure
1. Visitor Badges:
Parents with cleared background checks will be issued a personalized, photo-identifiable badge.
Badges must be worn visibly at all times while on campus.
2. Check-In Process:
All parents, regardless of purpose, must check in at the front office upon arrival.
Parents without a badge must sign in and present a valid photo ID. Temporary visitor badges will be issued for specific purposes only.
2. Restricted Areas:
Parents are only permitted in designated areas as approved by school administration.
